Some people are having trouble getting the emails and the whole link back didn’t go down well, so here is version 2 available to download for free. If you make a donation using the paypal button it will be very much appreciated this script took allot of time and effort to make.

Changes from version 1.1
Ok there have been a number of requests for a list of changes/features in version 2.
The first is a staged import to make it easier for servers with less control over their php.ini file this basicly splits the datafeed into smaller parts making it easier to import (less time outs).
Staying with the import mobiles will only be added if they don’t exist with the option of overwriting all via a check box. This will retain any custom descriptions and or metadata entered.
Review system added with admin approval and deletion.
Contract, PAYG, Sim Free are separated showing the relevant data only for each section payg has tariff info but no line rental or contract length as in version 1.1 and sim free just the price and merchant.
Free gifts section added allowing users to browse a free gift then comparing all phones from all makes with that free gift, this can then be narrowed right down to a particular phone with a chosen free gift and even on a specific network.
Cashback shows all makes then models of mobile phone then it compares them and can be sorted further by network, price, free mins, free texts and line rental (as with the other sections)
Latest mobiles shows the latest 48 mobile phone handsets under 30 days old
12months compares 12 month contracts with 12 months free line rental
Networks (Logos) shows you all makes then models on a selected network then leads you to the comparison pages for that phone on that network.
I have also added a compliant google sitemap and am currently working on a tariff comparison chart and a merchants more on that later (its going to be good).
There will also be a cron tutorial soon and I am always on hand to help out if you need to set one up.

I have just finished version 2 of my mobile comparison script you can see it working on my website shop mobile phones.
To get your copy I require you to add a link on a google indexed webpage to my mobile site shopmobilephones.co.uk this must be your sites index page this is to help promote my site and make my hard work worth while, the link above contains instructions on how to add your link it’s only 2 steps and doesn’t take long.
If links are removed after 2 weeks the script will forward to my site until such time as the link becomes active again. I don’t like doing this but I must protect all the hard work I have put in. V1.1b will remain free to download without restriction.
While you are waiting to be emailed your script why not browse my live mobile site and report back suggestions and any bugs you may find this will help future development and squash any errors before your wait is up.
Here is mobilephonesV1.1b.rar this includes the PHP/Ajax dependant drop down search lists and search page, home page meta and text editing a little basic you will need to add some html in the text content box just basic p and br tags to space it from the comparison table and to separate paragraphs * I will add a WYSIWYG editor soon scouts honour, some of you may have noticed the referrer code in the config file, this is there to catch keywords be it PPC or organic, any way I have added some code to index.php and the addtobasket.php files which grabs the keyword if it exists and drops it into the stats table with the Offer_ID clicked this will be used soon to generate the stats.
I have also taken out the users online count for now until I can sort a more universal option. Next on the agenda is to sort the reviews, rating system and stats. I have also had an email about the mod_rewrite I am waiting to find out some of the hosting information before I see if that needs an upgrade.
All of these fixes are going into the much prettier version 2 and once we have a more universal version 1 this to will be available for free download.

Then you need to register with UrMob.co.uk login to your partner panel and enter your relevant Affiliate ID’s and set the status of each of merchants you have applied to and are approved for to live (full instructions can be found within the UrMob.co.uk/partners website.
Due to a pretty hectic week I am running a little behind I wanted to release the script on Monday but life has just been to manic, I have not had time to include the front end reviews and rating functions as intended due to noticing a small bug at the last minute but rest assured these will be freely available soon as will a nice ajax dependant drop down search of makes, models and networks.
